BOAT HIRE &  FISHING

We wish you many exhillarating boat and fishing trips! We kindly ask you to take good care of the boat and the outboard motor you’ve hired. For your own safety, always bring a life vest in the boat, and note that life vests are prohibited.

Drinking alcohol and going with the boat is strictly prohibited.

Please also note that the difference between low and high tide can be as much as 2.5 metres and water levels change rapidly. To avoid damage to the boat and to prevent it drifting away, please make sure that you:
Ø      Always pull the boat ashore after your boat or fishing trip.
Ø      Always fasten the boat securely.

EXPLOITATION OF FISHING RESOURCES

Fish is an important resource in our area so we ask you to exploit it carefully and show consideration for the environment.

Filleting
When filleting please make sure that you waste as little as possible. A few small bones don’t necessarily ruin a fillet. We also make use of the fish belly. We’ll be happy to show you how we fillet.

Fish Offal
For the sake of the environment please dispose of fish offal carefully:
Fish offal must not be dumped on the beach but approximately 200 metres out to sea. Here it will be eaten by among others catfish. In this way, fish offal in itself becomes an important resource.
