Find peace and harmony under the northern lights

Welcome to 70^o North, the latitude at which the first northern lights observatory was located. The northern lights observatory on Haldee peak in Alta was active from 1899 to 1926.

Weather and temperatures change rapidly this far north, but regardless of the conditions you will always have a fantastic nature-based experience in the land of the auroras:

• Under dark clear skies it is possible to experience the magical powers of the northern lights, and when they are dancing across the skies in hues of green, pink and purple - an unforgettable sight! There are many stories and myths associated with this phenomenon.

• During the darkest period, the blue season, you will be able to enjoy a few hours of the blue daylight in the middle of the day; the light is particularly beautiful and fascinating .

• Relax, find inner peace and enjoy the life in the land of the northern lights

ANSI Turistservice offers:

• Evening tour on snowshoes to experience the polar night.

•  Cross-country skiing tours starting right outside your cabin.

• Relaxation time in a traditional outdoor hot-tub, a fantastic way end to the day and an excellent way to relax those tired muscles, and also a chance to experience the aurora borealis or northern lights dancing in the polar sky..

• An evening round an open fire in Grillhuset with coffee and pastries.

• Guided excursions by car with stop for refreshments.

• Overnight accommodation in high-standard cabin.

• Full board.

• Warm gear and equipment for the excursions. All tours are guided.
