BOAT TRIP TO SKJERVØY

Skjervøy is a traditional coastal community getting its livelihood from fishing and fish processing. We recommend a boat trip to Skjervøy to experience the beautiful coastline and perhaps the Midnight Sun. We can also give you more information about the trips. 

By Hurtigruten from Øksfjord to Skjervøy
You can drive to Øksfjord with your own car and board the Hurtigruten boat there. The journey over Lopphavet to Skjervøy takes about 3 hours. After a couple of hours exploring you take the Hurtigruten back to Øksfjord and then drive back to the cabin. Tickets are purchased on board. Ask for family or child discounts.

By local boat from Burfjord to Skjervøy
On this tour you drive to Burfjord and take the local boat "Kvænangen". This also takes around 3 hours. After visiting a number of the coastal communities in Ytre Kvænangen, the boat makes a brief stop at Skjervøy before returning to Burfjord. Tickets are purchased on board. Ask for family or child discounts.
