WINTER
- a taste of the Arctic . . .

Experience the arctic winter

Welcome to 70 degrees north for a taste of arctic winter. Arctic winters are extremely variable;

  • towards the end of December there is only a couple of hours of daylight in the day

  • and when the winter finally loosens its grip at the end of April, it is light 24-hours a day

  • amazingly, it is still possible to go cross-country skiing and dog-sledding in the mountains in May, under the gaze of the Midnight Sun. Down by the fjord summer is in full swing, while in the mountains winter conditions prevail anywhere over 400 metres.

ANSI Turistservice offers:

  • Day excursions on skis/snowshoes, dogsleds or snowmobiles.

  • Relaxation time in a traditional outdoor hot-tub, a fantastic way end to the day and an excellent way to relax those tired muscles, and also a chance to experience the aurora borealis or northern lights dancing in the polar sky.

  • An evening round an open fire in Grillhuset with coffee and pastries.

  • Overnight accommodation in high-standard cabin.

  • Full board.
